our story

Steve Kent’s passion for boats began at his father’s marina, where he was fascinated by the boat-building process. Early on, he worked with V-mold construction, gradually expanding his skills by working with a variety of molds. After selling big-name boats and noticing a lack of quality in their design, Steve set out to build something better. This hands-on experience led him to create a line of boats focused on one key goal: exceptional fishability. Horizon Boats are built to be practical, straightforward, and highly functional, offering the perfect blend of performance and durability for both seasoned anglers and everyday boaters alike.
